The Raw Art of Melancholy

It is within the deepest part of my soul that melancholy emerges. An emotion deeply imbedded within that seeks expression. The shear joy that I experience from my own tortured soul being able to fully emerge and show its head to the world is what I seek. Witnesses run in fear as they flee that which torments them within.

I ask myself… am I an alien to my own emotions? Does not the world of men experience what I see? Is it mans desire to flee from his own grief?

Tell me… do you see what I see?

Do you feel what I feel?

Is it your goal to hide from despair?

Life is painful!

It is only when we run from pain that we hurt the strongest. It is when we deny our own pain that we hurt others the most. Do you not see the world that you’ve created? The bare bones of our victim have been devoured. The opportunity for redemption is lost. Look within thy soul for liberation. Do not seek faulty religion, false prophets or chemical gods.

True liberation comes from within. To bear witness to your pain is to release your shackles. Open up to your savior within, because it is only you who will save yourself.
